DRFT

The DRFT series of cast bronze hardware was inspired by the sea and the driftwood it leaves behind, battered by waves, campfires and worn by time.

Our wares usually begin with straight lines and 3D printing. This time, we wanted to step away from that process and work with our hands, sculpting shapes that celebrate the imperfections of cast bronze. The organic forms and textures recall the ocean and the beautiful things found along its shores.

To make these wares, we reshaped some pieces of wood, and added texture with mouldable epoxy. The result is a collection of pieces that beg to be touched and feel so good in the hand.

To start, the DRFT series is available exclusively in our warm bronze finish (seen here). Other finishes will follow, but if you have something particular in mind, please get in touch.
